Welcome to the "Grange Fair!"

"A Family Tradition" -- The Centre County Grange Encampment and Fair, better known as "The Grange Fair," is August 26-September 2, 2010. The Grange Fair is a city within a town, as campers "move into" the Grange Park in Centre Hall, PA to live for more than a week. Come for the concerts, the rides, the amazing food, the games, and the competitions. But you'll come on back for the experience of being in one of the most uniquely friendly "hometowns" in America...at the Great Grange Fair!

REMINDER: Pets are not permitted in the Grange Fairgrounds or camping area during The Grange Fair, however seeing eye dogs are permitted.

Nicole Wasson of State College named 2010 Grange Fair Queen! Opening night at the fair was the night of the coronation of the queen and Nicole was all smiles as she accepted her crown and honor with pride. Rachel Klinefelter of Howard was honored to be named 1st Runner Up. Come out to the fair and see Nicole and Rachel and be sure to congratulate our latest winners!

Available for 2010 at the Grange Fair Emporium...The pottery cheese pot and the 2010 Ornament which celebrates the beloved tractor pulls at our own Grange Fair! You'll find them both available for sale in the Emporium! NEW THIS YEAR: The 2010 Grange Fair Collector Poster (shown top right of this page). 800 numbered editions of this beautiful representation of the midway and signed by the poster image artist and Grange Fair Artist in Residence, Karl Eric Leitzel. The price will be $10. Size is 24" by 18". In addition, you'll find the Round Barn Centennial Basket by the Centre Hall Women's Club, funds support our scholarships and charitable activities in Centre Hall & Potter Township. Volunteers are needed to assist with the production of this wonderful tribute to a beloved, end of summer tradition! Click for details!
WPSU & the Committee for the Centre County Grange Encampment and Fair are producing a special episode of the popular Our Town series, Our Town: The Grange Fair. Production for this program will take place throughout the fair, August 26 – September 2, 2010, and we want you to be a part of the show! Those interested in participating in the project are invited to attend the story selection & planning meeting on Saturday, August 21 @ 1 p.m. at the WPSU studios in Innovation Park, just off Penn State’s University Park campus.
